Jack Wilson was named Head Coach of the D'Youville men's lacrosse program in July 2022.
In Wilson's second year at the helm in 2024, the Saints had two players earned ECC Second Team All-Conference honors and two players earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. This was the first time the D'Youville University men's lacrosse team had players named to the all-conference team. The Saints as team was towards the top of the country in man-down defense, denying the opponent at .763 percent, ranking 14th in the country.
Under Wilson's guidance, the Saints were able to gain the program's first win in a 13-12 thriller against Dominican in just there third game of the season. Wilson and teh Saints went onto win three more games including their first conference win over the District of Columbia. The Saints finished the season 4-11.
Wilson comes to DYU from Felician University, where he served as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Golden Falcons’ men’s lacrosse team. As an assistant coach, Wilson oversaw all defensive efforts, helping Felician improve their team winning percentage by 36% over his two seasons on staff, as well as their best finishes to date in program history. Wilson saw three players named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Conference teams and coached the No. 16 man-down unit in Division II in the 2022 season. He also led the Golden Falcons to third in the nation in groundballs per game in 2022. While at Felician, Wilson also served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women’s lacrosse team, helping the Golden Falcons to the most wins in program history. Wilson also served as the Coordinator of Club Sports and Intramurals at Felician, as well as the recruiter for all NCAA athletic teams.
Prior to his time with the Golden Falcons, Wilson served as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Curry College. He began his tenure as the Faceoff and Goalie Coordinator and was promoted in his second season to Defensive Coordinator. Wilson was also the recruiting coordinator for his entire time at Curry.
Wilson currently is the Defensive Coordinator for the French National Team, where he helped Team France to their best finish ever in both the European Qualifiers in April of 2022 and the World Lacrosse Championships in San Diego in July of 2023.
Before joining the Colonels, Wilson was an assistant coach at his high school alma mater, Christian Brothers Academy. Wilson saw two players become US All-Americans in the 2018 season, as well as helped CBA to their best regular season finish in school history.
Wilson earned his Bachelor of Arts in history in August of 2018 from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. He was a three-year member of the GCU men’s lacrosse team.
Coach Wilson serves as the Defensive Coordinator and Goalie Coach for the Saints. He also serves on the USILA Coaches Poll Committee as well as the USILA All-Region Committee.
